Meera Sodha – Dinner at The Portobello Bookshop

We're so pleased that Meera Sodha is coming to the bookshop for an event! The bestselling, multi-award winning, author of East, Fresh India and Made in India, Meera Sodha, is back with her much anticipated fourth book, Dinner: 120 Vegan and Vegetarian Recipes for the Most Important Meal of the Day. It's a fresh and joyful celebration of the power of a good meal. Sodha will be in conversation with writer and critic Caroline Eden.

This event will take place in the bookshop with an in-person audience. There will be a signing after the event.

Vouchers can be redeemed on the night of the event against a single copy of Dinner – we will have a list of attendees with vouchers to be redeemed. Please note that only one voucher can be redeemed per book.

About Dinner:

Drawing from Meera’s ‘New Vegan’ Guardian column and from a wide range of Asian cuisines, Dinner also includes many brand-new recipes, all created to answer the question: What’s for dinner? in an exciting and delicious way.

Discover 100 vibrant, easy-to-make vegetarian and vegan main dishes bursting with flavour, including baked butter paneer, kimchi and tomato spaghetti and aubergines roasted in satay sauce. There are also ludicrously delicious desserts, such as coconut and cardamom dream cake and bubble tea ice cream, and versatile and surprising side dishes, including salt and vinegar potato salad and asparagus and cashew thoran.

From quick-cook recipes to one-pan wonders and delectable dishes you can just bung in the oven and leave to look after themselves, Dinner is the essential companion for the most important meal of the day.
