Kate Young – Experienced at The Portobello Bookshop

We're thrilled to welcome Kate Young back to the bookshop to celebrate her debut novel, Experienced. It's especially exciting to be hosting this event as part of Porty Pride, ahead of their weekend of celebrations in and around Portobello from Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June. Young will be in conversation with comics creator and events programmer Nyla Ahmad.

This event will take place in the bookshop with an in-person audience. There will be a signing after the event.

Vouchers can be redeemed on the night of the event against a single copy of Experienced – we will have a list of attendees with vouchers to be redeemed. Please note that only one voucher can be redeemed per book.

Please note that the Experienced will be published on 6th June. If you have signed up for a Book & In-Person option and would like to receive your copy ahead of the event on Thursday 27th June, please get in touch via our contact form and we'll be happy to help.

About Experienced:

Bette loves Mei, but Bette and Mei are on a break, so Bette can catch-up on the decade of dating experiences she missed before she came out.

So Bette is (reluctantly) on a dating odyssey: a quest to have lots of casual sex with lots of hot women and come back to Mei more experienced and more certain about what she wants. And now she has new friend Ruth as her queer dating guide, she can't possibly fail. It's just three months, then she'll be back with Mei.

It's the perfect plan ... isn't it?

Please note: Tickets for our events are non-refundable. Professional photography and videography may take place during this event. Thank you for your understanding.
