Dan Richards – Adventurous Non-Fiction Masterclass
Non-Fiction Writing Masterclass with Dan Richards
Attendance options:

Whether you’re interested in writing memoir, reportage, or exploring the natural world, Dan Richards’ masterclass will help you hone your projects, narratives and prose.
With an emphasis on engaging directly and poetically with source material, Dan will share practical techniques and approaches that have informed his own writing.
During the two hour session he will share tried, tested and treasured literary touchstones that have influenced his practice.
Be it conveying the crazed mêlée of the Le Mans 24-hour race, the fear and confusion of insomnia and a medical crisis, the widescreen slog of climbing a Swiss alp, unexpected encounters with bears, or interviewing artists about creativity and process, Dan has been there and written the book.
Dan Richards is an acclaimed non-fiction writer specialising in art, travel and adventure. He is the author of The Beechwood Airship Interviews, Climbing Days, Outpost, and the Sunday Times bestselling Holloway, which he co-authored with Robert Macfarlane. His latest book, Overnight: Journeys, Conversations and Stories After Dark, is set to be published in March 2025.
