ZHUANG Shen. Co-founder and principal architect of Atelier Archmixing, Chinese first class registered Architect, guest professor of College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University. A pioneering Chinese architect, Zhuang Shen has won numerous design awards both domestic and overseas, including Architecture Design Award of Excellence issued by Architectural Society of China, Best Architectural Design Award issued by MOHURD and MOE of China, WA Award of Chinese Architecture, The Young Explorer Award of China Architecture Media Award, Best Commercial Building Award issued by American Journal Businessweek/Architectural Record, Outstanding Achievement in Construction Management Award issued by CIOB. HUA Xiahong. Professor and doctoral advisor from College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, Doctor of Engineering, Chinese First Class Registered Architect, visiting fellow in School of Architecture, Yale University (2014-2015), the academic advisor for Atelier Archmixing and a part-time editor for Time+Architecture Magazine. Her academic interests include Chinese Architects and Their Practices in Modern and Contemporary Times, Contemporary Architecture in Consumer Culture and Everyday Urban Research and Regeneration Design Strategies for Ordinary Buildings. She had co-authored Sixty-year History of Tongji University Architectural Design Institute (2018) and Shanghai Hudec Architecture (2013), and contributed chapters in The History of Chinese Modern Architecture (2016), The Analysis and Inherence of Chinese Traditional Architecture (Shanghai volume) (2017) , The Green House (2015), etc.
