Jane Singer is Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, Japan, where she co-supervises the Environmental Education study area. Her research focuses on human migration and displacement, community resilience, campus sustainability and tertiary-level education for sustainability. Tracey Gannon was a lecturer and later a tenured associate professor in environmental communication at the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, Japan, from 2003 to 2014. She currently divides her time between Japan and the UK, combining freelance editorial work and sustainability teaching with ongoing research into environmental education and eco literacy. Fumiko Noguchi has been working in the field of environmental education and ESD for nearly twenty years. She has been working for the Japan Council on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD-J) as the International Programme Coordinator since 2004. She is currently a researcher at the Centre for Global Research, RMIT University, Australia. Yoko Mochizuki is Head of the Rethinking Curriculum Programme at the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development in New Delhi, India, which she joined in 2015 from UNESCO Paris.
