Ying Luo Author

Pengchong Chen (ORCID Number: 0000-0001-5166-4219) received his BSc in Mechanical engineering from the Zhengzhou University, China, in 2017. In 2022, he was awarded a Chinese Doctorate with his PhD in Mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Since 2022, he has been a Lecture at the Zhengzhou University, China. Dr Chen’s main research interests are fractional order modelling and control, active disturbance rejection control, continuum robots and motion control.

Ying Luo (ORCID Number: 0000-0002-7006-2122) received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and engineering from a joint Ph.D. program of the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, and Utah State University, Logan, UT, USA, in 2009. He is currently a Professor with the School of Automation Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology. He was an Assistant Research Professor with the Center for Self-Organizing and Intelligent Systems, Department of Electrical and Engineering, Utah State University, from 2009 to 2010. Together with Prof. YangQuan Chen, he authored a research monograph entitled Fractional Order Motion Controls (2013). His research interests include applied fractional calculus in modeling and controls, mechatronics and robotics, motion controls, active disturbance rejection controls, and smart control engineering.
