Xinyu Lu Author & Editor

Xinyu Lu is among China's most prominent scholars of rural-urban inequities. She earned her degrees from Anhui University, Zhejiang University, and Fudan University. Her research spans media studies, visual culture, sociology, philosophy, and politically-grounded readings of history. She currently serves as the Director of the International Communication Research Institute at ECNU. Professor Lu has a track record of publishing numerous books and essays in English, Chinese, and French.
