Xiaodong Cheng received his BS degree in applied geophysics from the Yangtze University (JiangHan Petroleum Institute) in 1993, MS degree in Geology from the China University of Petroleum in 2001 and MBA from the Tsinghua University in 2010. He joined in the Petroleum industry from 1993, and has more than 25 years’ experience concentrating on the reservoir exploration and evaluation works. Now he is a senior petrophysicist and in charge of the oil fields E&P works in International Logging Company of CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company, and his international work area including Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, U.A.E, Oman, Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Canada, China, etc.
Leyuan Fan received his BS and MS degrees in Geology from the China University of Petroleum, and then joined the CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company in 2004. He has been working at complex reservoir exploration and evaluation for more than 15 years. He is a senior petroleum geologist and is presently doing G&G study works in the international oilfields including Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, U.A.E, Oman, Iraq, Iran, China, etc. His interest is G&G study and comprehensive logging data evaluation. He has 1 patent, 1 computer software copyright registration and has published more than 30 technical papers on G&G studies and logging data interpretation techniques.Weikang Gu received his BS degree in Petrophysics from the China University of Petroleum in 1982, MS degree in Geophysics from Yangtze University (JiangHan Petroleum Institute) in 1997, MBA degree from University of International Business and Economics in 2004. He joined in the Petroleum industry from 1982, and has more than 36 years’ experience concentrating on the wireline logging, reservoir E&P works. Now he is the Chief Scientist of CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company in charge of wireline logging and mudlogging technology study, also in charge of international marketing. He has published more than 10 technical papers on wireline logging and oil E&P works.
