The Author: Wokia-azi Ndangle Kumase was born in Cameroon and graduated from the University of Buea in Cameroon with a Bsc. in banking and finance. He obtained a Masters degree in international economics and a Ph.D. in development economics from the University of Göttingen. The author worked as a research assistant at the chair for development economics and consultant for the GTZ.
