Winnie Adolph Author

Winnie Adolph teaches at Florida State University. Her experience enables her to provide creative learning activities for the text and Internet. Gisela Hoecherl-Alden teaches in the Department of Modern Languages and Comparative Literature’s German section, and collaborates with all language programs at Boston University in her role as Assistant Dean and Director of Language Instruction. Simone Berger, formerly an instructor at Tufts University, has returned to Germany. She provides invaluable input for authentic readings, realia, and contemporary German language. Jack Moeller is retired from Oakland University after many distinguished years of excellence in teaching. He continues to be involved in the revision process of DEUTSCH HEUTE and KALEIDOSKOP to ensure the quality and integrity of the program. Thorsten Huth holds a Ph.D. in German Applied Linguistics from The University of Kansas. He teaches German and Linguistics at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research interests are in Pragmatics, Second Language Acquisition, and Language Teacher Education. Seth Howes is assistant professor of German in the Department of German and Russian Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2013, while visiting assistant professor at Oakland University, he joined the Deutsch heute author team and contributed information for instructors regarding the ACTFL standards for foreign language learning.
