Virginia Sanchini, Ph.D., is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Milan, Department of Oncology and HematoOncology. She is also Member of the Faculty in the Medical Humanities PhD programme at the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law at KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research interests focus on the concept of vulnerability in research and clinical ethics, clinical ethics support systems, ethical issues related to oncology, informed consent in clinical and research domains, as well as deliberative approaches to bioethics.
