Dr. Pooja A Chawla is a Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, ISF College Of Pharmacy Moga, India. She Has 19 Years of Experience in the Research, Discovery And Development Of Biologically Active Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Chawla Holds a Ph D Degree In Medicinal Chemistry and Has Published 3 Books, 5 Book Chapters and More Than 60 Papers In National/International Journals and Is serving as reviewer for international journals of repute. Dr. Chawla Is also Privileged to serve as guest editor of two reputed journals of Bentham Sciences. She has guided 47 Post Graduate Projects And Her Research Team Consists Of 3 Master And 4 Doctoral Research Scholars. Her area of research Interest focuses on the design And synthesis of various heterocyclic moieties. Dr. Löbenberg holds a BSc in pharmacy from the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany. He received his PhD in pharmaceutics from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt in 1996. He joined the University of Alberta in 2000. His research interests are in Biopharmaceutics to predict the oral performance of drugs and botanicals and inhalable nanoparticles to treat lung diseases like cancer or tuberculosis. He is founder and director of the Drug Development and Innovation Centre at the University of Alberta. He was president of the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences 2014 & 2015. He is Vice Chair of the Specialty Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Pharmaceutics of the World Foundation of Chinese Medicine Science. Dr Kamal Dua is an award-winning pharmaceutics and drug delivery researcher who has deep roots in teaching, research and industry spanning three nations and two continents. He holds dual expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Immunology & Microbiology and has also completed four professional diplomas in the areas of clinical research, product development, drug regulation, and documentation and intellectual property rights. In his role as a senior lecturer in the Graduate School of Health at UTS, Kamal leads a suite of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) courses where, as a Program Coordinator, his responsibilities include coordinating the academic and research activities for those courses. Drawing on his experience with various pharmacy schools in Australia and overseas, he has blended different modes of innovative teaching with traditional teaching modes to create a flexible, student-centred and engaging approach to pedagogy. Dr Vinay Parikh, is an Associate Professor in the Cognition and Neuroscience area of the Department of Psychology at Temple University. Dr. Parikh also holds an affiliated faculty appointment in the Center for Substance Abuse Research at Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Previously, he served as the Director of Neuroscience Program in the College of Liberal Arts and provided strategic leadership, direction, and guidance for all educational and professional activities in the program. Dr. Parikh’s research interests broadly focus on neuromodulation of cognition in health and disease. For many years, his laboratory is engaged in delineating the contributions of cholinergic and glutamatergic signaling in modulation of distinct cognitive processes, specifically those involved in attention and executive functions. His research has also focused on the role of neurotrophins as key regulators of neurochemical circuit adaptations and cognitive functioning in aging and psychiatric disorders such as drug addiction and schizophrenia.
