Tran Duc Chung received the B.E.E.E (Hons.) degree in instrumentation and control with First Class Honors from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in 2014. At UTP, he is a Ph.D. candidate conducting research in the area of wireless networked control system for industrial applications. His research interests include advanced process control with predictive and adaptive mechanisms, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence. He has actively served as reviewers for various prestige academic journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Access, and ISA Transactions. In addition, he has served as executive committee member of IEEE Robotics and Automation Malaysia Chapter. He received the Vice Chancellor Award and the Best International Student Award from UTP in 2014, PETRONAS Full-time Scholarship in 2009, the Third Prize in National Physics Competition from Bureau of Educational Testing and Quality Accreditation, Ministry of Education, Vietnam, in 2007. Rosdiazli Ibrahim is the Dean of Centre for Graduate Studies at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Chair of IEEE Robotics and Automation Malaysia Chapter. He received the B.Eng. (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 1996. In 2000, he was awarded the M.Sc. degree in Automation and Control (Distinction) from University of Newcastle Upon-Tyne, UK. He was conferred the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2008. He is a Chartered Engineer registered with the UK Engineering Council. He was formerly an Instrument Engineer at PETRONAS Fertilizer (Kedah) Sdn. Bhd. He joined Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 1999 and is currently an Associate Professor. His current research areas are intelligent control and nonlinear multivariable process modeling for process control application and he has presented and published several articles in such areas. Vijanth Sagayan Asirvadam obtained the B.Sc.(Hons.) in Statistic in 1997 from University of Putra, Malaysia (UPM). He received the M.Sc. in Engineering Computation with a Distinction from Queens University Belfast. He later joined the Intelligent Systems and Control Research Group at Queens University Belfast in November 1999, where he completed the Ph.D. researching into Online and Constructive Neural Learning methods. He serves as Associate Professor at the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. His research interests are in the theory of linear and nonlinear system identification and model validation. He is member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and also serves as executive committee member of IEEE signal processing and control system societies for Malaysian chapters. Nordin Saad obtained the B.S.E.E. from Kansas State University, USA, the M.Sc. degree in Power Electronics Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, and the Ph.D. in Automatic Control Systems Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK. His research interests include electrical drives control, fuzzy & expert systems, model predictive control, computer control of industrial processes, failure analysis for diagnostic condition monitoring systems, smart sensors and field intelligence, smart grid, and networked and wireless control. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He is a Senior member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE), and The Institute of Measurement and Control (MInstMC) UK. Sabo Miya Hassan is a graduate assistant at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, Nigeria, in 2008, and the M.Sc.Eng. (Hons.) degree in control systems from the University of Sheffield, U.K., in 2011. He is with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ATBU. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Perak, Malaysia. His current research interests include wireless networked control systems, intelligent control, and optimization.
