Man Mohini Kaul is a Professor at the Centre for South, Central, South East Asian and South West Pacific Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. A well known scholar of Southeast Asia and Southwest Pacific studies, Prof. Kaul has pioneered research in India on the southwest Pacific, and her book, "Pearls in the Ocean: Security Perspective in the South West Pacific Region", was one of the first books to be published on this region in India. She has authored and edited several books and published numerous articles in leading national and international academic journals. She has also participated, chaired and organized a number of international and national seminars and workshops, and led Government of India delegations to the region. Dr. Vibhanshu Shekhar is Research Fellow, Indian Council of World Affairs, New Delhi. Before joining the ICWA, Dr. Shekhar headed Southeast Asia Research Program at New Delhi-based Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies for a year. He has authored The Politics of Islam, Nation-building and Development: Ethnic Violence and Terrorism in Indonesia (New Delhi: Anamika, 2011) and co-edited Rising Indian in the Changing Asia-Pacific: Strategies and Challenges (New Delhi: Pentagon Press, 2012), and Delhi Dialogue III: Beyond the first Twenty Years of India-ASEAN Engagement (New Delhi: Manohar, 2012). Besides, Dr. Shekhar has published in national and international academic journals, news magazines, newspapers, and academic websites.
