Dr. Gustavo Santoyo obtained his Doctor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2005 and did postdoctoral studies during 2005-2007 at the Center for Cancer Research, NIH, USA, as well as a sabbatical year (2014-2015) at the Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. He is currently a full-time research professor at the Institute of Chemical and Biological Research of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, in Morelia, Mexico. His research interest is led towards plant-microbe interactions, biocontrol of fungal pathogens, development of bioinoculants for agricultural crops, and basic research on microbial diversity of extreme environments. In these research areas has published 80 scientific publications with more than 4000 citations and a h-factor 29. In the Academy, He has supervised more than 30 doctoral, master and undergrad thesis. Dr. Santoyo is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and the National Research System (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) in Mexico. Dr. Ajay Kumar is a visiting scientist at the Agriculture Research Organization, Volcani center, Rishon Leziyon, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development Israel. He has published extensively in leading International and National journals or books. He has wide area of research experience, especially in the field of Plant-Microbe Interactions, Microbial biocontrol, and Endophytes related with the medicinal plants, Postharvest management of fruits. Dr. Kumar has published more than 165 research articles including review papers/book chapters/ books in the leading international journals. He is serving as special issue editors in some journals like “Frontiers in Microbiology, Microorganism etc. In addition also acting as reviewer in some leading journals like Frontiers group, PLOS ONE, Agriculture, Ecosystem and Environment, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Biological Control, Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, 3Biotech etc. Dr, Kumar has edited several books with leading publishers including Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor and Francis. Dr. Mohd Aamir is currently working as research fellow at the Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi, India. Dr. Aamir completed his doctoral research from Department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, India in 2018. He has immense interest in molecular plant-microbe interaction, stress physiology and also has expertise in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. His research work is focused on molecular aspects of plant-pathogen interaction, and other innovative approaches to control plant diseases including (Bio-control aspects of microbes) and analyzing the molecular networks involved in plant disease signaling using the computation tools and techniques. Dr. Utandhi Sivakumar is Professor of Agricultural Microbiology in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), India. He received his basic, masters, and doctorate degrees from TNAU and gained Post-Doctoral experience at University of Florida, USA. He was Dean of School of Post Graduate Studies, TNAU.. He has previously been Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Florida, USA. He is now serving as Visiting Adjunct Professor at the University of Tokyo, Japan. With 25 years of teaching and research experience, he has about 107 research articles and obtained several recognitions in his academic and professional career, which include 9 awards, 3 fellowships and 4 patents (One –US and 2-Indian). He has authored more than 20 books and written 15 book chapters and is currently serving as a Chief Editor of 107 years old Madras Agricultural Journal. He has established international collaboration with Universities of Warwick, University of Wageningen, University of Florida, University of Tokyo, and Boreskow Institute of Catalysis, Russia.
