Todd A. Comer is an associate professor of English at Defiance College in Ohio and has published in such journals as SubStance, the Journal of Narrative Theory, and Journal of Modern Literature. Joseph Michael Sommers, an assistant professor of English at Central Michigan University, has published essays on Gary Paulsen, Judy Blume, the maturation of Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man in the Post 9/ 11 Moment, and Twilight.
