Takashi Ariga Editor

Takashi Ariga has been practicing and teaching urban and environmental design for thirty years. He is a professor of the department of Architecture and the former dean of the School and Graduate School of Creative Science and Engineering at Waseda University, Japan. He is currently a vice president of the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ). His academic filed encompasses the collaborative planning theories and methods with citizen participation. He has advised national and local governments in Japan, and has been invited as a distinguished guest speaker at several foreign universities and international conferences.
