Kamlesh Singh, PhD (Psychology), is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. She has teaching and research experience of about 22 years. The main areas of her interest are applied positive psychology, psychometrics, community psychology, and rural women and adolescents. Kamlesh Singh has to her credit 85 published papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and 14 book chapters. She has co-authored the book Measures of Positive Psychology, published in 2016. With her ongoing teaching and various research projects in positive psychology, Kamlesh Singh is a member of the advisory committee of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). She has also initiated an Indian association named National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA; http://nppassociation. org/) with several positive psychology specialists. With her training in the field of literary studies and in psychology, she engages with texts through psycho-social concepts such as stereotyping, implicit bias, memory and representation. She deals with intersections of art, history and fiction, besides myths and oral history. Her recent research focuses on contemporary literature from troubled regions of India, rich with unsettling questions about nationalism, belonging, identity and ideals of love amid terrorism and militarization. She has published in various national and international journals.
