Allen T. Alexander is Associate Professor of Innovation & Circular Economy at the University of Exeter Business School, Penryn Campus where he is a senior researcher currently exploring various aspects of Circular Economy. His research originally focused on strategic knowledge management and the role that knowledge can play in developing enhanced commercial capability and as a source of innovation. His recent studies have explored Open Innovation, Innovation Ecosystems and Regional Systems of Innovation and currently he is working on exploring Circular Innovations, and the role that they can play in transitioning towards Circular Economy. He has also previously investigated the role that universities and academics play in shaping corporate innovation and entrepreneurship practices. Fiona Charnley is Professor of Circular Innovation and Co-Director of the Exeter Centre for the Circular Economy within the University of Exeter Business School. Fiona’s research interests lie within the field of design, innovation and business for a Circular Economy. She is Co-Director of the recently funded UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Hub harnessing the UK’s leading research capabilities to accelerate the transition towards a Circular Economy. Fiona collaborates with organisations from across sectors to identify new approaches to design, innovation, manufacture and business modelling to transform resource use and value creation. She has also led multiple education and executive training programmes to support future leaders in developing the skills and capabilities necessary to transform our industrial system. Stefano Pascucci is a Professor in Sustainability and Circular Economy at the University of Exeter Business School, UK. He is research fellow at the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI), and research affiliate at Exeter Centre for the Circular Economy (ECCE), University of Exeter. He is also part-time professor at the University of Auckland Business School (NZ), and visiting research fellow at the Department of Business Management and Organisation (BMO) at Wageningen University (NL). He holds a PhD in agricultural economics, and then specialised in topics related to institutional analysis and sustainability connected to entrepreneurship, organisation studies, innovation and value chain management. His research focuses particularly on food and agribusiness, sustainability and Circular Economy. He has published, among others, in the Organization Studies, Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Agriculture and Human Values.
