Dr Jean-François Fayet is Professor of History at the University of Fribourg, SNF Senior Researcher at the University of Lausanne, and Associate Researcher at the Centre Russe, EHESS. He is the author of numerous publications on Soviet foreign policy, cultural diplomacy, and international communism. Stefanie Prezioso is Professor of Modern History at the University of Lausanne. Her research interests include the First World War, revolutionary processes in the first half of the twentieth history, social movement in the aftermath of the two World Wars, fascism, and antifascism. Her most recent book is Résistances mondiales à la guerre totale (1914-1918). Guerre et révolution (La Dispute, 2017). Dr Valérie Gorin is SNF Senior Researcher at the University of Lausanne, and Lecturer at the Center for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action (CERAH), a joint centre of the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute. Her research and publications focus on visual culture, media history, and crisis reporting.
