Solmaz Sharif Author

Solmaz Sharif is an Iranian-American poet and academic at Arizona State University. Sharif was born in Istanbul before settling in the US where she received degrees from UC, Berkeley and NYU alongside such awards as the Boston Review Discovery Prize, a National Book Award, and a Pen Center Literary Prize for her first collection, Look. Customs is Sharif's second collection of poems.
