Dr. Vikas Verma doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Tezpur University, Assam, India since April 2017. He has contributed research works in the reputed journals in the field of Renewable energy, Hydrogen Energy, Nanofluid, HVAC system. Dr. Sivasakthivel Thangavel has been serving as an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Global College of Engineering and Technology, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman since May 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from IIT Roorkee, India. Throughout his career, Dr. Siva worked as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow and researcher in China, Japan, and France, publishing more than 30 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is a certified higher education teacher and obtained a postgraduate certificate in academic practice in 2020 from the University of the West of England. Moreover, Dr. Siva boasts over eight years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at various higher educational institutes in India, China, Japan, and Oman. Dr. Nitesh Dutt received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2018, where his research, supported by a Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) project, delved into "Heat up and cooling studies of debris of IPHWR." Remarkably, he gained experience in establishing a dedicated Nuclear lab under the guidance of his supervisor and BARC scientists within the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at IIT Roorkee. With an M.Tech in Renewable Energy from the same institution, Dr. Nitesh's expertise spans diverse domains. As a GATE-qualified professional, he has presented his work internationally and contributed research articles to SCI journals, peer-reviewed platforms, book chapters, and conferences. He has authored three edited books published by Taylor and Francis Group (CRC Press), holds four patents, and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the "International Journal of Energy Resources Applications (IJERA)." Specializing in nuclear reactor safety, Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Solar Energy Applications, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Dr. Nitesh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at COER University, Uttarakhand, India, since 2018, with a previous stint at Graphic Era University Dehradun, India from July 2011 to July 2012. Garnering over 9 years of rich academic and research experience, he was honored with "Research Awards" in 2022 by the College of Engineering Roorkee (COER), Roorkee, India. Dr. Nitesh also led the TEQIP-III Sponsored project and is actively involved in research under the COER-IIT Roorkee MOU partnership. He has participated in numerous workshops, conferences, and has convened Short Term Courses (STC), further showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge and academic excellence.
Dr. Ashwani Kumar received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Mechanical Vibration and Design. He is currently working as Senior Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering (Gazetted Officer Group B) at Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh (under Government of Uttar Pradesh) Kanpur, India since December 2013. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era University Dehradun India (NIRF Ranking 55) from July 2010 to November 2013. He has more than 13 years of research, academic and administrative experience including Coordinator for AICTE-Extension of Approval, Nodal officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India), internal coordinator-CDTP scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh), Industry Academia relation officer, Assistant Centre Superintendent (ACS)-Institute Examination Cell, Zonal Officer to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Diploma), Sector Magistrate for Lok Sabha- Vidhan Sabha Election etc. Being an academician and researcher, he is Series Editor of 4 book series Advances in Manufacturing, Design and Computational Intelligence Techniques1/ Renewable and Sustainable Energy Developments2/ Smart Innovations and Technological Advancements in Mechanical and Materials Engineering3/ Computational Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering4 published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis USA)1-3 and Wiley Scrivener Publishing4 USA. Dr Rohitha Weerasinghe is a Senior Lecturer of the University of Bedfordshire England in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked at University of the West of England and University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka previously, as a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering. He was a senior member of the energy group of University of Moratuwa. He has worked extensively in the renewable energy and automotive engineering sectors in Sri Lanka and in 2003 won the National Transport Award for designing and constructing a solar assisted electric car. He worked as the Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs) at Global College of Engineering, Oman in 2018 and 2019. Rohitha has also worked as an EPSRC Research fellow at University of Sussex between 2005 and 2007. He published in a numerous refereed publications and journals and has a patent in automotive thermal heat recovery. He has been a co-chair of international conference ICAEER 2018, ICAEER 2019, ARFEE 2019, ICAEER 2020and ICAEER 2021. He has also published and refereed in numerous conferences. He is the awardee of a number of grants both in Sri Lanka and in the UK including an INNOVATE UK grant. Dr Rohitha Weerasinghe also has significant industry experience as an Energy Specialist, especially in renewable energy and energy strategies. He has also been an international consultant in energy for the UNDP in the past and represented Sri Lanka as an expert in regional energy policy making. Rohitha received his PhD from Imperial College London in after reading in gas turbine combustion. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
