Axel Timpe is a landscape architect and associate professor at the Institute of Landscape Architecture at RWTH Aachen University. His research and teaching is focused on green infrastructure, urban agriculture and nature-based solutions and their co-production with local communities. He has been the principal investigator of the proGIreg Innovation Action.
