Dr. Yugal Kishore Mohanta has over 12 years of teaching and research experience and currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Biology within the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), India. Dr. Mohanta's current area of research pertains to the study of metal and composite nanoparticles from bioresources and their potential applications in the fields of food, agriculture and biomedicine. Dr. Mohanta has international research experiences as both PhD visiting scholar and Post-doctoral fellow at KU Leuven, Belgium and University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman respectively. Dr. Mohanta has authored 70 research publications in peer-reviewed journals which are indexed in the SCIE. These papers have high impact factors and have garnered a total of 1641 citations having h-index is 19, and their i10 index is 31. Additionally, he has served as reviewers for over 30 international peer-reviewed journals from Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, Frontiers, MDPI, and holds the position of associate editor for four SCIE indexed journals. Additionally, Dr. Mohanta has made contributions to 16 book chapters, edited book for CRC Press, and authored numerous articles on scientific topics for national science publications. Dr. Mohanta currently holds the position of group leader at the Nano-biotechnology and Translational Knowledge Laboratory (NanoBioTraK) and serves as the principal investigator for the SERB-DST project, a start-up research grant funded by the Government of India in New Delhi.Dr. Mohanta is also working as State President of Microbiologist Society India (MBSI) for Assam and Meghalaya, India.
Dr. Kunal Biswas is currently working as an ‘Assistant Professor (Research)’, at the Centre for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, International Research Centre, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai-600 119 from December, 2021 till present. He received his PhD from the Department of Biotechnology, MAKAUT, WB in June, 2021. He received his Master’s degree in Nanoscience and Technology from the Department of Physics, Tezpur Central University, Assam, India in 2012. He has been working for more than 8 years in the field of ‘carbonaceous nano-materials’ and its wide spread applications ranging from material sciences to biotechnological domains. He has been honoured with the prestigious West Bengal state award as ‘Outstanding paper award in Engineering’ section at the 27TH West Bengal State Science and Technology Congress, 2020, Govt. of West Bengal. His area of research is ‘Nano-biotechnology’ and his research interests include Material Engineering, Nano-bio sensors, sensor fabrication, Nanotechnology, nano-bio interface etc. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed SCI indexed (Web of Science, Scopus) journals of International and national reputes like Frontiers in Microbiology, Molecules, IET Nano Biotechnology, IEEE Transactions in NanoBiosciences, Springer,Elsevier publications etc. He has also contributed 7 book chapters till date and recently co-edited two book in Taylor & Francis, CRC Press and Elsevier, written many popular science articles in the national science magazines along with organising several international and national seminars (both online and offline).
Dr Mahanta, is a resident of Guwahati, Assam, India, and working for the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Guwahati, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. Dr. Mahanta did his masters in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Tezpur University, Tezpur Assam and he got the PhD. degree from Gauhati University, Assam for his work on Computational Drug Discovery for Tuberculosis. Dr. Mahanta is actively involved in Bioinformatics based drug discovery works using Combinatorial Chemistry, Molecular Docking, Molecular Modelling, Molecular Dynamics and related analysis. His research area includes Structure-based drug discovery studies for COVID-19, Breast & Stomach cancer, Alzheimer's disease & Tuberculosis. He is also involved in Nano-informatics-based research using proteins of different pathogens.
Dr. Saravanan Muthupandian has over 21 years of teaching and research experience, and he is ranked in the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2021 and 2022. Presently working as a Professor, AMR and Nanotherapeutics Lab, Department of Pharmacology, Saveetha University, SIMATS, Chennai, India Since January 2021. He has published more than 200 research papers including high impact JournalThe Lancet and Nature and Nature Medicine with more than 27000 citations and h-index of 60 and i10 index of 135. He has published Seven books and 35 book chapters. He has participated in more than 100 National and International conferences and Reviewers of more than 100 international peer-reviewed journals. Guest editor/ Editors for various reputed PubMed and Scopus indexed journals, in particular, He has an Associate editor in Frontiers in Pharmacology, Frontiers in Oncology and MDPI Functional Biomaterials and Medicina.
