Later, he did his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in the year 2006. Subsequently, he joined Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada as a post-doctoral fellow in the year 2007. During his tenure at Ryerson University, he served as Vice-Chair (Elect), HQPA, AFMNet Network of Excellence, Canada. He joined the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India in the year 2009 as an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently the Professor-in-Charge of Medical Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory in the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. His major research interests revolve around Biomedical Signal Processing and Biomedical Equipment Design. He is also working in the fields of soft materials and controlled drug delivery. He has published more than 100 publications in SCI cited journals of high repute, Book Chapters, Edited Books, and papers in peer-reviewed conferences. He is a very well-cited researcher having more than 2500 citations. Sarika Verma is currently working as Principal Scientist at Materials for Radiation Shielding and Cement free Concrete division CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal - 462026, MP, India. She has more than fifteen years of diverse experience in Research and Teaching in CSIR & other academics Institutes such as CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal Govt. of India, respectively. She was awarded a Ph. Din Chemical Sciences from BarakatullahUniversity, India. Thereafter, she worked in different capacities like a research scientist at Technische universitad, Darmstadt, Germany, Pool Scientist (CSIR-HRDG, New Delhi), and Women Scientist (DST). She is the recipient of various prestigious awards like young scientist, women scientist etc. She has around 20 patents filed. Over the years, she has been intensively engaged in multiple R & D to design and develop advanced materials useful for different broad application spectrums like cement-free materials, Radiation shielding materials, polymeric composites, biomedical and energy materials via novel techniques. She has experience in transferring the know-how technology to industries likeM/S HCL, M/S Assurays, etc. Dr Pallab Datta is Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kolkata, India. Dr. Ananya Barui is a scientist working at the Centre for Healthcare Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah, India. Dr. S.A.R. Hashmi is Chief Scientist and Head of the Integrated Approach for Design & Product Development Division, CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), India. Dr. Avanish Kumar Srivastava is the Director, CSIR – Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute, Bhopal. He received his master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (UOR), Roorkee, MTech. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and doctorate in metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He serves as an expert for nanoscale measurements and instrumentation at ISO and BIS. He was instrumental in establishing the high-resolution electron microscopy & spectroscopy facilities at CSIR-NPL New Delhi and AMPRI Bhopal. His prolific research on the growth of engineering materials and understanding on nucleation-growth, phase transformations, microstructures & defects is outstanding and known by his peers world-wide. His in-situ annealing experiments under electron beam on the interfacial diffusion of aluminium into amorphous Si, has enlightened the dynamic process of Si-crystallization in reality. He has reported two crystal structures in polymer-tungsten oxide nanostructures and also elaborated concept of irrational twinning of cubic crystals leading to quasiperiodic structures. His work on DNA: CNT coupling is exemplary in bio-technology. Dr. Srivastava has published 250 articles in peer reviewed journals and ten patents. He serves as Chief Editor of the journal “Applied Innovative Research”. He has published a Book entitled, Oxide Nanostructures: Growth, Microstructures and Properties. He is instrumental in transferring seven technologies including non-toxic radiation shielding tiles, cement free concrete, hybrid green composites, electricity free water filter, bamboo composites, and surface plasma resonance substrate for Raman spectroscopy, to leading companies. Dr. Srivastava is President of the Electron Microscope Society of India. He is eminent member of governing council of TIFAC, Govt. of India. As a coordinator of Young Scientists’ Conclave under India International Science Festival, IISF – 2016, he was able to organize large number of plenary lectures, oral & poster presentations and demonstrations / presentations by Start-ups, etc.
