Samir Raafat Author

Samir Raafat was born in Cairo in 1949. He holds a BA in economics from the American University in Cairo, and worked for Bank of America for several years. He later became a columnist for two Egypt-based English-language magazines and a freelance correspondent for regional and international publications, while publishing four books on Egypt’s contemporary architectural and social history. He is currently a private researcher.
