Samantha Langsdale is lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at the University of North Texas. Her work has appeared in the journal Animation Practice, Process, and Productionand the edited volumes Gender: God;Fantasy/Animation: Connections Between Media, Mediums and Genres;andSacred Texts: Reimagining Religion and Graphic Narratives (published by University Press of Mississippi).

Elizabeth Coody is assistant professor of religious studies at Morningside College.Her work has appeared in the Religious Studies Review, and she is a regular contributor to Women Write About Comics.
