Sally Fisher Author

Benjamin C. Fisher, born May 27, 1915, received his B.A. from Wake Forest College and his Master of Divinity from Andover-Newton Theological School. He is the author of many scholarly articles and books championing the benefits of a Christian education and Christian Universities. He was a pastor and an educator. He taught at Wake Forrest College, Gardner Webb College, and finally, Chowan College. He was an influential member of the Southern Baptist Convention for over forty years. He passed away on November 3, 1985.

Sally Fisher was the wife of Ben C. Fisher. She kept minutes on all of the speeches he gave, took notes on conversations that they had regarding Christian education and all things that Ben held dear. Following Ben's passing, Sally put those notes together, the stories told into this book.
