Robin N Campbell Author

Robin N. Campbell recently retired from his post as lecturer in psychology at the University of Stirling. His research is concerned with the cognitive development of young children. He is particularly interested in representational systems such as language, drawing, number, and meta-cognition. He is also interested in the attentional systems that guide and control all of these activities.is a reader at the University of Stirling. Based in the Department of Psychology, his research covers social behavior, learning, and cognition in various species of nonhuman primate. This work has included studies of self-recognition and mirror-image reactions in various primate species. He also conducts comparative work with human infants.is a lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Dundee. Her research interests are in the social and cognitive development of young children, with a focus on the development of self.
