Robert F Marx Author

Robert F. Marx was a pioneer scuba diver and discovered over 3,000 shipwrecks and dozens of sunken cities in 62 countries over a period of 50 years. He wrote 56 books on maritime history, underwater archaeology and shipwrecks, as well as over 800 popular articles and archaeological reports. In 1962 he organized and served as the navigator on NINA II, authentically duplicating Columbus' first voyage across the Atlantic - for which he was knighted by the Spanish Government. In 1962 and 1964 he captained two authentically built 10th century Viking ships for two other voyages in European waters.
