Jeffrey G. Snodgrass is associate professor of anthropology and a core faculty member in the graduate degree program in ecology at Colorado State University. He is author of Casting Kings: Bards and Indian Modernity (Oxford 2006) and has published articles in American Anthropologist, American Ethnologist, Cultural Anthropology, Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, and other top journals. Henry D. Delcore is associate professor of anthropology and co-director of the Institute for Public Anthropology at California State University, Fres Richard Sherman (Oglala Lakota Sioux) holds degrees in wildlife management and regional planning and has served as wildlife biologist and director of the Oglala Sioux Parks and Recreation Authority, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
