Elizabeth Connor is professor of library science and leadership studies at the Citadel. She is editorial board member for the Journal of College and Character and is book review editor for the Journal of the Medical Library Association.
Richard Dwight Porcher Jr. is professor emeritus of Biology at the Citadel. He holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of South Carolina. His previous publications include A Guide to the Wildflowers of South Carolina; The Story of Sea Island Cotton; and The Market Preparation of Carolina Rice: An Illustrated History of Innovation in the Rice Kingdom. Porcher is a former trustee of the South Carolina Nature Conservancy and previously served on the board of directors of the Charleston Library Society. He is the 2008 recipient of the South Carolina Environmental Awareness Award.
William Robert Judd is a self-taught draftsman/artist, archaeologist, and historian. He is retired from the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPARWAR). He previously produced the technical drawings and illustrations for The Market Preparation of Carolina Rice.
