Dr. Riccardo Proietti MD, PhD, graduated at the Catholic University of Rome in 1997. He then specialized in cardiology at the University of Perugia and achieved a PhD degree in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Padua. He accomplished a fellowship in clinical electrophysiology at McGill University Canada. Since 2010, he is Consultant Cardiologist at Luigi Sacco Hospital of Milan with main activity in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. He is certified in cardiac pacing by the European Heart Rhythm society and in Clinical Electrophysiology by the Heart Rhythm Society. He is author of articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and a number of book chapters.
Ahmed AlTurki completed internal medicine residency and a fellowship in cardiology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and is currently undertaking a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the same institution. His main scientific interests include oral anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation, cardiac implantable electronic devices and catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. He has authored over peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters.
Nicola Ferri is Associate Professor in Pharmacology at the University of Padua. His main scientific interest is focused on drugs affecting lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis. He received several honours, among all the award “Giovani Ricercatori” by Italian Society for the study of atherosclerosis (SISA). He is elected in the organizing committee of the European Lipoprotein Club meeting (from 2017 until 2011) and of SISA Veneto section (from 2018-2022). He is authors of more than 100 peer-review manuscripts.
Vincenzo Russo undertook specialist training in Cardiology at Monaldi Hospital. He earned PhD degree in Pathophysiology of the Cardio-Respiratory System from Second University of Naples in 2013. Since 2010, Dr. Russo serves as Consultant Cardiologist at Monaldi Hospital in Naples and as Honorary Fellow in Cardiovascular Diseases at School of Medicine - University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is an editor for Cardiology Research and Practice.
T. Jared Bunch completed internal medicine residency and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and electrophysiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He received the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award for clinical care of patients and the Donald C. Balfour Award for meritorious research. He served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic from 2003-2007, before joining his current partners at Intermountain Heart Rhythm Specialists. He currently directs heart rhythm research at Intermountain Medical Center and is the medical director for heart rhythm services of Intermountain Healthcare. He is involved in multiple national and international trials involving cardiac rhythm management. He has published over 100 manuscripts and 10 book chapters. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Heart Rhythm Case Reports and a section editor for Heart Rhythm.
