Zonglin Jiang is a professor of the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), a Distinguished Fellow of the International Shock Wave Institute (ISWI), a Member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and an AIAA Associate Fellow. He has been internationally recognized for his universal framework of detonation initiation and propagation, the theory and technology for detonation-driven hypervelocity shock tunnels, the standing oblique detonation ramjet engine and the dispersion-controlled dissipative shock-capturing scheme, and rewarded the 2016 AIAA Ground Testing Award, the National Technology Invention Prize of China, the Outstanding Scientific and Technology Achievement Prize of CAS. Randy S. M. Chue has worked extensively in the analysis and optimization of various wind-tunnels for testing scramjets and re-entry vehicles, such as the NASA HyPulse and blowdown facilities located at GASL, at which he was the Chief Engineer for Computational Fluids. He was also an Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University and his teaching and research were focused on propulsion.
