Ranald Noel-Paton Author

Ranald Noel-Paton was born in Bombay in 1938. Growing up in Scotland and England after the War, he was educated at Rugby School and McGill University. Ranald spent 21 years in the airline industry and served overseas in West Africa and the Asia Pacific region; in Hong Kong as General Manager Far East for British Caledonian airways. He returned to the UK in 1986 to be Group Managing director of John Menzies PLC. In 1991, he was awarded an Honorary doctorate by Napier University in Edinburgh. He and his wife have been married for more than 50 years and they now live in Scotland. Ranald Noel-Paton is a direct descendant of George Windsor Earl.
