Dr. Awesh K. Yadav has received his B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and PhD from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University Sagar (MP). He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Raebareli, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching and industrial experience in various institutes and industries. He has written dozens of quality research publications in journals of national and international repute. He has also published four books and seven book chapters. He has been awarded the best citation award for his publication in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics in 2005. Dr. Yadav’s current research interest includes targeted and controlled novel drug delivery systems for the delivery of various bioactives such as anticancer drugs, anti-Alzheimer's drugs, anti-Parkinson drugs, anti-malarial drugs, sun-screening agents, etc. Currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmacy, Central University of Rajasthan, India, received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. H. S. Gour University, India under the mentorship of Prof. N K Jain. He has experience as Research Scientist at Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, India and Post-Doctoral Research Associate at South Dakota State University, USA. He has more than ten years of research and academic experience. His area of research is mainly focused on dendrimer mediated drug delivery, solubilization and targeting. He has more than 49 publications and six book chapters to his credit with total citations of more than 2855. Recently he has also published a book with Elsevier as Editor entitled “Nanotechnology-Based Targeted Drug Delivery Systems for Brain Tumors. Rajeev Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior, India. He earned his B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. H. S. Gour Central University, Sagar, India. Dr. Sharma has approximately 13 years of experience in both teaching and industry. He has served as a Junior Research Fellow under AICTE, an ICMR-SRF, and a CSIR-RA Fellow during his research career, and has worked as an Assistant Professor in academia and as a Senior Formulation Development Scientist in the R&D industry. Dr. Sharma has edited two international and two national books and has authored over 30 publications and 21 book chapters in international reference books. His work focuses on recent concepts in immunology, nanobiotechnology, novel drug delivery systems, and targeted and controlled drug delivery of bioactives for the treatment of diseases such as cancer and diabetes. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). Dr. Sharma's work has been cited approximately 1,200 times, and he has an h-index of 17. The cumulative impact factor of his published papers is around 120, according to SCOPUS. He is currently working on a research project funded by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST). Dr. Sharma has received several awards for his research, including the Young Research Scholar award and various awards for best oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences. His current research interest is in nanocarrier-based targeted approaches for the effective delivery of bioactives.
