Her research has focused on feminist political economy and rights-based perspectives on health and health policies in the context of neoliberal globalization. Pieter Fourie teaches at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. His research focuses on HIV/AIDS, global health governance, political epidemiology and the political economy of global development.
