Majid Daneshgar is Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the University of Otago, New Zealand. His research focuses on Islam in the Malay-Indonesian World, and Islam and Science in the 19th and early 20th Centuries. Peter G. Riddell is Vice Principal (Academic) at the Melbourne School of Theology and Professorial Research Associate in History at SOAS, the University of London. He has published widely on the study of Southeast Asia, Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations.
