Dimitrios Pavlou is Professor of Mechanics at University of Stavanger in Norway, and Elected Academician of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences. He has had over twenty-five years of teaching and research experience in the fields of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Fracture Mechanics, Finite and Boundary Elements, Structural Dynamics, Anisotropic Materials, and their applications in Engineering Structures. He is the recipient of the 2022 Hojjat Adeli Award for Innovation in Computing, the most prestigious award in computational mechanics. He is also associate editor of five high-impact journals in civil and aerospace engineering and member of the editorial board of seven more ones. His research goal is to improve the structural safety and reliability of large structures using advanced numerical methods and algorithms. 

Dr. José A.F.O. Correia is a Researcher of CONSTRUCT (Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction) and INEGI (Institute ofScience and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) of the University of Porto (Portugal), and a Guest Teacher at the Engineering Structures Department of the Civil Engineering and Geosciences Faculty of the Delft University of Technology (Netherlands). Additionally, José A.F.O. Correia has some honorary positions attributed by institutions of world reference: - Adjunct Professor at the Xi'an Jiaotong University (China); - Guest Professor at São Paulo State University (Brazil); among others. His research interests are on structural integrity, fatigue and fracture of engineering materials and structures.

Tiago Fazeres-Ferradosa is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Dept. of Civil Eng.) and researcher of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR). He is currently responsible for the R&D unit Offshore Structures & Foundations at the Research Group of Hydraulic Structures and Marine Energy. His research portfolio includes several R&D projects related to offshore engineering and marine renewable energy research. He is also the President of the Specialized Commission Water and Energy of APRH, member at the Leadership Team of IAHR's Europe Division and an awarded researcher in the domains of Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Offshore and Maritime Engineering and marine renewable energy research. He is also the President of the Specialized Commission Water and Energy of APRH and member at the Leadership Team of IAHR's Europe Division.

Ove Tobias Gudmestad is Professor Emeritus of Marine Technology at University of Stavanger, Adjunct Professor Emeritus of Cold Climate Engineering at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø and Adjunct Professor of Maritime Technology at Western Norway University of Applied Science, Haugesund, Norway. He is an Elected Academician of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences and of the Norwegian Scientific Academy of Polar Research. Prior to (and in parallel with) his academic career, he worked as technology advisor in the maritime industry. Through his career he has been involved in the development of national and international standards. His research interests are related to safe offshore structures and the effects of cold climate on engineered facilities. He has supervised more than 250 Master thesis and more than 35 PhD students (as main or co- advisor). 

Sudath C. Siriwardane is a Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Stavanger in Norway. With approximately thirteen years of teaching experience, he specializes in lecturing on topics such as steel structures, plasticity theory, nonlinear analysis, and structural design. His primary research focus revolves around the fatigue behavior of steel structures, structural integrity, and the buckling of thin-walled structures. He has authored more than 75 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, and he is leading research projects. 

Hirpa G. Lemu is Professor of Mechanical Design Engineering at University of Stavanger, Norway. He has over 25 years of teaching and research experience. He is serving as reviewer of many journals published under Springer Nature, Elsevier, MDPI and others. He is also serving as Editor of journals such as Simulation Modelling Practice and theory, and conference proceedings. Professor Lemu’s current research focus include additive manufacturing technologies, composite materials of natural fibers, design optimization, healthcare technologies, tools for topology optimization. 

Gerhard Ersdal is Professor ΙΙ of Life Extension of Offshore Structures at University of Stavanger, Norway, with over 30 years’ experience in offshore and marine engineering. He has had a special interest in existing structures and particularly the safety of older structures for most of his career. He has extensive experience both in design of offshore structures, regulation of the offshore industry in Norway and development of national and international standards for offshore structures. As a part of his work for the Norwegian regulator, the Petroleum Safety Authority, he led a major research program on ageing and life extension of offshore facilities (2005-2010). He is the lead author of the book “Ageing and life extension of offshore structures” and the co-author of the book “Underwater inspection and repair for offshore structures”, both published by Wiley.

Jayantha P. Liyanage is Professor at University of Stavanger, Norway, with expertise in Industrial assets, Systems, Processes, Operations, and Performance. His main research within Industrial assets and infrastructures includes;, Complex and dynamic industrial systems and processes, Industrial assets integrity, Digital and Collaborative work processes, Information-driven decision processes, Modern interconnected industrial digital systems, Integrated operations, Smart assets and infrastructures, ISO 55000 and Standardization, Human-Technology-Organization/Human factors, Green industrial facilities and systems, and Sustainable industrial performance. 

Vidar Hansen is Professor of Materials Technology at the Department of Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science, University of Stavanger and Adjunct professor at University of Oslo, Norway. His research interests are Electron Microscopy, Materials Science, Thermoelectricity, and Additive Manufacturing Materials among others. He has participated in several administration boards, and he has published significant works in international journals and conferences. 

Mona Wetrhus Minde holds a PhD in microscale characterization of chalk and is the Head of the Department of Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science at University of Stavanger. She is leading the MetAMet project aiming to find thebest metals for 3D implants and prostheses. Mona Minde has published several research works in reputed journals and conferences. 

Chandima Ratnayake, is Professor of Production and Manufacturing Technology at University of Stavanger, Norway. He has extensive academic and industrial experience and has been Advisor in important companies. He has published over 300 publications in international journals and conference proceedings. He serves as Editor, Associate Editor and Editorial board member in 6 journals. He has been awarded a diploma and membership at Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA) and he is project leader of important research projects. 

Dr. Andreas Delimitis currently holds a Researcher position in Materials Science at the University of Stavanger. His research and teaching interests revolve around the development and applications of electron microscopy methods for advanced materials. He has been serving as an editorial board member of Minerals and Nanomaterials and as a regular reviewer for the American Institute of Physics (AIP) and Elsevier, among others. He is a member of the European Microscopy Society (EMS) and the Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) of England. 

Idriss El-Thalji is Associate Professor of Industrial Technology and Operations Management at University of Stavanger, Norway. He has published over 40 works in international journals and conference proceedings. He is involved in research projects on Wear Evolution Modelling, and Condition Monitoring Technologies for the Reduction in Maintenance Costs of Wind Turbines. He has published research works in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. 

Nirosha D Adasooriya serves as an Associate Professor within the Department of Structural and Mechanical Engineering and Material Science in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Stavanger, Norway. With approximately 12 years of teaching experience, she is responsible for instructing subjects related to structural mechanics and structural design. Her primary research focus on structural integrity and environmental-assisted cracking. She has published research works in International Journals and Conference Proceedings, and she is involved in research projects. 

Samindi Samarakoon, is Professor at University of Stavanger, Norway. Her area of specialization is design and analysis of reinforced concrete structures and environmentally friendly materials and technology qualification and applications of Best Available Techniques (BAT), incorporating sustainability concerns within different industrial settings and technology qualification for Oil and Gas operations in remote and harsh environments. She has published several publications in international journals and conference proceedings, and she is involved in important research projects. 

Tor Hemmingsen is Professor of Corrosion and Electrochemistry at University of Stavanger, Norway. He has near 40 years experience in research, education, and management, related to chemistry, corrosion and oil, gas and wind industry. He has been Prorector at University of Stavanger, Head of Department for Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Head of Department for Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science, elected Board member of the European Chemical and Molecular Science, and President / Past President in Norwegian Chemical Society in addition to memberships in several other steering committees. He has authored more than 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
