Nokuhle Madolo was appointed Senior Researcher at the Mandela Institute in December 2009. She holds an LLM in resources law and policy from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of the Witwatersrand. She maintains a special focus in the field of International Economic Law and Policy and has served as Legal and Policy Adviser to governments and a number of mining companies and also has extensive experience in the development of mineral investment and mining policy. She is a member of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL), founding member of the African International Economic Law Network (AfIELN) and now vice chairperson of the AfIELN Committee.
