Dr McGuire is also the Director of the Cardiology Clinic at Parkland Hospital and Health System in Dallas. His coeditor Nikolaus Marx, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Cardiology and Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital in Aachen, Germany.
