Mohammadali Ahmadi Author

Mohammadali Ahmadi is currently a Vanier Scholar in chemical and petroleum engineering at The University of Calgary as well as a research and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Previously, he was a Reservoir Engineer at the National Iranian Oil Company and EOR specialist at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI). Ahmadi is currently researching steam-chemical co-injection (SCCI), a relatively new method of heavy oil recovery. Specifically, he is exploring the possibility of SCCI to simultaneously reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and maximize oil recovery from heavy oil reservoirs. Ahmadi earned a M.Sc in reservoir engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology, a MEng in oil and gas engineering from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is a PhD candidate in chemical and petroleum engineering at The University of Calgary.
