Milica Pojic Editor

Milica Pojic, PhD Principal Research Fellow in the Institute of Food Technology, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She is the Assistant Director for International Cooperation, Scientific Advisor. Her current area of expertise is in Hemp production and processing. She coordinated a project By-products of industrial hemp processing as renewable raw materials in food industry at the national level. Currently she is coordinating the project Non-thermal plasma potential in the hemp seed sprouting funded within bilateral scientific programme between Germany and Serbia. Her research interests are in the area of alternative proteins of plant origin. Her research outputs include 50 peer-reviewed research publications, 7 chapters and one co-edited book. She is an editorial board member of the Food and Feed Research scientific journal published by the Institute of Food Technology in Novi Sad. Brijesh K. Tiwari, PhD, Principal Research Officer at TEAGASC – Agriculture and Food development Authority, Ireland and adjunct Professor at University College Dublin, Ireland. He leads a team of 6 postdoctoral researchers/Research officers and 10 PhDs in the area of novel food processing technologies. His research output includes over 175 peer-reviewed research publications and over 100 book chapters. He has also co-edited 10 books and is a book series editor for IFST Advances in Food Science book series. He is currently the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Food Processing and Preservation.
