Mike Butler Author & Editor

Mike Butler was born in Middlesbrough in 1958. His career has encompassed selling records in Camden Town, the artists’ studio MASA in Manchester and jazz editorship of City Life. During this time he interviewed Nina Simone twice, discovered the lost verse of ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale’ and co-promoted a joint tour by John Fahey and Abner Burnett so disastrous it rated a feature in Mojo.
