Dr Michael Sinclair is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist and the Clinical Director of City Psychology Group (CPG) in London, UK. He is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council as well as a Chartered Scientist, registered with the Science Council, UK. He has provided the highest quality psychological interventions, including therapy and coaching, to individuals, couples, families, groups and teams for over 16 years. He acts as the consultant to a growing number of corporate human resources and occupational health departments based in the City of London as well as internationally, assisting with employees’ stress management and productivity, and provides corporate training to leadership teams and key executives working across a range of industries within both the private and public sector. With his approach firmly rooted in contextual behavioural science, he has expertise in delivering a range of evidenced-based mindfulness interventions and has been trained in the USA by the pioneers of the mindfulness-based approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He has been dedicated to his own mindfulness practice for over 10 years. He regularly provides mindfulness workshops to both corporate as well as large public audiences and is actively involved in teaching mindfulness to psychologists as well as other health professionals. Josie Seydel is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Certified Mindfulness Teacher (with The Mindfulness Training Institute). She has been practicing meditation since 1986. She has extensive experience providing effective mindfulness based psychological therapy to corporate executives and assisting occupational health departments in managing workplace stress. Her other areas of specialist clinical practice include working with eating disorders, adolescents, self-harm and suicide. She has experience designing and delivering innovative, engaging and high quality mindfulness workshops to public audiences as well as regularly facilitating mindfulness practice groups. Along with her work as a Clinical Associate at City Psychology Group, she also runs a thriving private practice in Devon, UK.
