Michael Eisenberg Editor

Michael Eisenberg is a senior researcher and lecturer in the Zinman Institute of Archaeology and Department of Archaeology at the University of Haifa, Israel. He completed his PhD at the University of Haifa in 2009. He is Classical period archaeologist with a rich field experience. He published articles and books focusing on Hellenistic–Umayyad archaeology and military architecture of the Hellenistic and Roman worlds. He is directing the on-going excavation project of Hippos-Sussita of the Decapolis Rabei Khamisy is a senior researcher in the Zinman Institute of Archaeology and a lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Haifa, Israel. He completed his PhD at the University of Haifa in 2012 and Carried out a Post-Doctorate research in Cardiff University (2013-2015). His main research focuses in Crusader archaeology and he is leading the major project of Montfort Castle together with Professor Adrian Boas. Currently he is also excavating in two Frankish villages in western Galilee.
