Matthew Daniels Author

Matthew Daniels, J.D., Ph.D. teaches human rights and law on four continents and is the creator and Executive Producer of the Human Rights Network, an educational video network promoting universal rights through digital media. Daniels is Chair of Law & Human Rights at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and founder of the Center for Law and Digital Culture at Brunel School of Law in London. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Handong International Law School in Pohang, South Korea, and at the University of Costa Rica. Professor Daniels is the creator of the nonprofit organization Good of All, which is committed to educating people around the world about human rights and freedoms, through digital platforms such as www.UniversalRights.org and www.UniversalRights.com. In 2019, Good of All launched a Universal Rights Scholarship Program at four historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., as a joint project with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Council of Georgia. Dr. Daniels also served as the Executive Producer and Educational Advisor for the human rights documentary A Higher Law on Georgia Public Broadcasting. Dr. Daniels is the author of Human Liberty 2.0 (Simon & Schuster, June 2019), which showcases the inspiring stories of teens and adults channeling the power of digital and social media to make the world a better place.
