Martin Sheppard Author

Martin Sheppard was the founder of the award winning Hambledon Press (Sunday Times Small Publisher of the Year 2000-2001), which he sold in 2005. Since then he has been busy writing history books. He is a member of the Crimean War Research Society and author of the biography of General Sir James Scarlett (who also happens to be his great, great, great uncle), published by Pen & Sword in 2022. He lives in London with his two dogs.
