Krishanan Padmakumari Sivaraman Nair is a Consultant Neurologist, with a special interest in disability management at Sheffield teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. He has an academic and clinical interest in neurological rehabilitation, particularly in management of neurological impairments. His research interest is to develop interventions to promote functional recovery following acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. Marlís González-Fernández is a board-certified Physiatrist and Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore. She also serves as vice chair for clinical affairs and managing director of outpatient operations in the same department. She has been a practicing physiatrist for 14 years with a research focus on swallowing and communication disorders after stroke. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health. Her clinical practice is focused on the rehabilitation of people with neurologic disease and limb loss. She is directly involved in teaching medical students and rehabilitation residents. Jalesh N. Panicker is Consultant Neurologist in Uro-Neurology at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Reader in Uro-Neurology and Clinical Neurology at the University College London, Institute of Neurology. His primary interest is in understanding the neural control of bladder and sexual functions and embedding the management of bladder and sexual dysfunction in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological disease. He also has a specialist interest in pelvic neurophysiology testing. He is involved in imparting training in uro-neurology and is actively involved in clinical research.
