Victoria Pérez-de-Guzmán is Professor of Social Pedagogy in the Department of Education and Social Psychology at Pablo de Olavide University, Seville. She has published on issues such as gender and education, conflict resolution, sociocultural animation and community development, and education of adults and seniors. She is a member of the Ibero-American Social Pedagogy Network and a board member of the Ibero-American Society of Social Pedagogy.
Encarna Bas-Peña is Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia. Since 1985 she has published widely on gender inequality and has coordinated and participated in different international and national projects on the theme. She is Coordinator of the I National Congress on Trafficking in Human Beings and Coordinator of the Social Action Platform of the University of Murcia. She is also Director of iQUAL, the Journal of Gender and Equality at the same university.
Margarita Machado-Casas is Chair and Full Professor in the Department of Dual Language and English Learner Education at San Diego State University. She is a board member of several prestigious academic journals and is currently a co-editor for the Handbook of Latinos in Education that was awarded the American Education Studies Association Critics Choice Award. Most noteworthy, she has edited over 10 international books and published over 40 academic publications in top tier international journals.
